During his first stint with the Noia Freixenet hockey club, up until the 2001/2002 season, Bargalló was crowned champion of the WS Europe Cup and the Copa del Rey, winning both titles in 1988, and also winning the Federation Cup in 2002. After his time at Noia Freixenet, he joined the Galician team at the Liceo hockey club. In between these two periods, he spent two years playing for the Iguala HC hockey club, and for the last five seasons, he has been defending the jersey of the Portuguese UD Oliveirense club. In terms of his appearances on the Spanish national team, he has been crowned world champion on four occasions (in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013) and European champion on four other occasions (in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012). He also won the Golden Cup and the Copa América in 2010 with the Catalan team.
